Based on the survey of the key resources, the following priority sectors and sub-sectors were identified.

  KEY COMPONENTS OF THE BIOTECH PARK

 The biotechnology park would comprise the following facilities: 

  1. Technology incubation center (TIC) consisting of laboratories and instrumentation facility.
  2. Micro propagation facility
  3. Common facilities including animal testing facilities
  4. Business support facilities (BSF)
  5. Pilot plant for biolfertilisers.
  6. Pilot plan for Medicinal plant extraction.
  7. Business enterprise zone (BEZ)

 Project cost

 The cost of the project is estimated at Rs. 35.28 crores
